Join the Lakeside Game Day Team!

Lakeside School District is looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals to serve as Public Address Announcers for athletic events during the 2026-2027 school year.

As a public address announcer, you'll help create a first-class game day atmosphere by welcoming fans, introducing teams and players, recognizing sponsors, and making game-related announcements.

Whether you're a sports fan, enjoy speaking in front of a crowd, or simply want to support Lakeside student-athletes, we'd love to hear from you!

Current Openings

Compensation is paid per event night, not per game.

The number of event nights may vary slightly based on the final athletic schedules.

Responsibilities

Public Address Announcers will:

• Welcome fans and visitors to Lakeside athletic events.
• Introduce teams, players, coaches, and officials.
• Read pregame, halftime, and postgame announcements.
• Recognize sponsors and special guests.
• Make game-related announcements in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
• Work with the activity directors to ensure a smooth game-day experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have clear and confident speaking skills.
• Are dependable and punctual.
• Can maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
• Enjoy supporting student-athletes and school activities.
• Are available to work evenings during the athletic season.

No previous announcing experience is required, but it is a plus.
